  • About Whisky Ginger

    Hello! We are Stevie and Dan.

    Our history, and hobby, has been collecting, fixing up and creating some pretty cool things from vintage, reclaimed and salvaged finds together.

    Stevie is a graphic designer and jewelry maker, Tru.che. And Dan has been an Art Director to Product Designer, to mashing kittens with droids, Hello Wars, and is now following one of his opa’s passions in wood working, Dankdistrict.

    Starting Whisky Ginger was generally just an excuse to not feel guilty when bringing home great finds. This past year we opened a “tiny” storefront based out of East Pilsen, home of the Chicago Arts District. The storefront is open by appointment only but our doors are open for every 2nd Fridays Gallery Night, from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. Be sure to check out the online shop! Together, the soon to be a hitched couple, run Whisky Ginger selling vintage finds and unique handmade goodness.
